Pharmacological action

(1)Pharmacodynamics : Antimicrobial spectrum and antibacterial activity of ampicillin is basically the same, because of its absorption in monogastric animals better than ampicillin plasma concentration, hence better for the efficacy of systemic infection. For the respiratory system caused by susceptible strains, urinary system, skin and soft tissue and other systemic infections.
(2)Pharmacokinetics : This product is very little internal or absorption of intrauterine infusion. Absorbed rapidly after intramuscular injection and completely. Up t0 0.5-1 hours in the peak concentration. Subcutaneous or intramuscular injection the bioavailability of more than 90%. Gentamicin absorbed mainly distributed in the extracellular fluid, can be hypogastric, pleural effusion, bronchial secretions, bile, pericardial fluid, joint fluid, pus appears. In the liver, lymph nodes and muscle tissue and serum concentrations similar.

Indications

For the treatment of animals' infections caused by amoxicillin-sensitive bacteria such as pasteurellosis, pneumonia, mastitis, metritis, pullorum, salmonellosis, sepsis and so on.

Dosage and administration

Intramuscular or subcutaneous injection. For cattle, pigs, dogs and cats: 15mg per kg body weight. Once per day for 3-5 days.

Notice

Should not be use for animal which allergy to penicillin. Shake well before use

Withdrawal time

Slaughter 28 days; milk 7 days; egg 7 days

Side effect

In individual domestic livestock may appears allergy reaction, as skin rush, oedema but rare.
